Jon WoodroffeIt’s not exactly new news. He’s been getting this kind of feedback for a long time now – particularly in relation to beginners lessons! Nevetheless, we just wanted to share some of the very recent, kind and fully deserved words that have been said about World of Golf London, Master Professional Jon Woodroofe. He really is a superstar.

Can I just say for nearly 4 years now I have worked with Jon up at the range having various lessons.  I have played at different golf courses with groups of people I’d probably never have met before. Jon puts everybody at ease, which is great especially for first timers on a course. He is a gentleman, very kind, really good fun and so quick to point out your mistakes. He works with you till you get it right.
Great man, brilliant with people and a great sense of humour“.

“The classes that I took with Jon were excellent. I learned the basics very quickly due to the fun and effective teaching style he has. The lessons gave me confidence and the ability to understand the game. I look forward to returning when the golf season resumes”.

“As a total golf beginner the best thing I ever did was book lessons with Jon @ World of Golf. Not only did Jon help me get to grips with the basics of the game but then transitioned my efforts out on to a local golf course with other newbies. I met new friends and the whole experience has given me the confidence to join a local golf club and even get a handicap. I couldn’t have found a better teacher and would recommend Jon Woodroffe to anyone considering starting, or wanting to improve their golf.”
Dr Pat Barbour (Mrs)

“I couldn’t have found a better introduction to golf. I absolutely loved the lessons with Jon, he was so helpful and could cater to every individual’s needs. My sister and I started the lessons together and Jon was able to help us both with our many different areas of improvement! We loved Jon’s way of coaching and really enjoyed ourselves – not taking ourselves too seriously (which was lucky when we kept missing the ball to start with!). I really couldn’t recommend him more. Thank you, Jon!”
