Quick fixes for topping the ball
This is more the domain of the novice golfer, but it can happen to anyone and is very debilitating to your score. Here are my quick fix tips for topping the ball. I advise doing them in the order suggested till the problem stops.
Stand closer to the ball. Let your arms hang vertically down from your shoulders and then take the grip of the club.
Place the ball position in the middle of your stance.
Ensure that you are transferring your weight completely onto your front foot at the end of the swing.
Try to keep your arms straighter for longer after impact with the ball.
Imagine the golf ball is Earth and make a conscious effort to hit the South Pole of that globe.
If on the range, take the ball away from the tee and make a conscious effort to hit the tee. If you fail to hit the tee, the Power Tee mechanism will not give you a golf ball. This will make your practice session very dull but will incentivize you to make sure you hit the tee. When you hit the tee and finally a golf ball comes up, make sure you hit the tee again, this time with the ball on it.
That usually works wonders
